COVID impact on Elections Statewide
The downward spiral started in early March when my first important event that my regional SGA that I am apart of (CRASC), had been planning for over 5 months had gotten canceled due to COVID-19. Then MASC ( Maryland Association of Student Councils) Convention got canceled which was an event student leaders across the state had been looking forward to since the beginning of the School Year. Shortly after Gov. Larry Hogan had shutdown the state which meant NO SCHOOL. No in person events with more then 10 people could occur much less a General Assembly with more then 100 Students, which most regional SGA elections have.
